Hello to all our amazing Bella’s fans!

I am Deanna “Bella”cicco, founder and owner of Bella’s Home-Baked Goods. Over the past 24 years, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting so many of you at festivals, craft fairs, and events throughout the Hudson Valley and beyond. Creating Bella’s has been one of the most fulfilling journeys of my life.

How It All Began

Bella’s Home-Baked Goods started in my grandmother’s kitchen with her very first product — Bella’s Anise Biscotti. Those early days of baking and sharing Italian treats with family inspired a business built on tradition, love, and quality. I never imagined it would grow the way it has, and I feel truly blessed to share this journey with all of you.

More Than Just Great Biscotti

While we’re known for having some of the best biscotti around, there’s so much that happens behind the scenes to make Bella’s successful. I’m often asked at events if I bake everything myself, and the answer is a resounding “no!” That simply wouldn’t be possible without our loyal, hardworking team — the best employees in the Hudson Valley.

Our products are lovingly baked by Pat, Paola, and Val, then passed along to Karina, Beth, and Maria, who carefully cut and package each batch for you. Danielle, my right hand, oversees day-to-day operations and manages much of the behind-the-scenes work, including our website. And if you ever call Bella’s, you’ll reach either me or Danielle on the phone.

You can also meet me, Danielle, and sometimes my grown children — along with other friends and family — at Bella’s Annual Holiday Open House and at select local fairs and festivals throughout the year.

A Small Business with a Big Reach

I like to say we’re a small business that makes lots and lots of biscotti and delicious treats! We proudly supply hundreds of retailers throughout the whole country through hand delivery, shipping, and our distributors and brokers. From biscotti and butter toffee to cookies, bars, and brownies, every product is made with care and attention.

So many people have helped us along the way — far too many to name — and they are the reason you can enjoy Bella’s treats at your favorite retailer, online, or at local events. The next time you see them, please thank them for an incredible job well done.
